"Lumpy"
Richard Dee Thomas, passed away November 14, 2014 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 23, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard M. and Joyce Naylor Thomas.
Richard loved to spend time with his friends and family. He lived life his way and was "Large and Lovely".
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; children, Dennis and Markham; wife, Susie; granddaughter, Kelsey Skye Johnson.
Funeral services will be 11 am, Thursday November 20, 2014 at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna. Visitations will be 6-8 pm Wednesday November 19 and 10-10:45 am Thursday prior to services at the mortuary. Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com Private Interment.

Sterling,JoAnne, Hollty, and family we are so sorry to hear about Lumpys passing. Rick says he will miss the nose pulls and he is sue that Lumpy will miss forks and astrays being thrown back his way. I can't believe he's gone. He was such an amazing man. I love and miss you grandpa party hard young man. Also, mom I know you're not going to acknowledge yourself so I just want you to know that you did a great job taking care of him while we had him, and he knows how much you cared and I guarantee he was more than thankful you did a great job mom, and grandpa you created an amazing wife, mom, and sister.
I love you grandpa. Gone but never forgotten.

I roomed with lumpy once. I'll never forget it. everyday was something new. shared a lot of great memories with him. One I will never forget, was our trip to Wells, Nevada. He at the time helped my transition from married life to the joy of being single. this guy could have made a great stand up comedian. So long friend.
