Ruby Griego Obituary
Seattle, WA - Our beautiful mom, Ruby Griego, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2018. She leaves behind family, friends and many caretakers who will miss her spunky spirit and generous heart. She was born in 1943 in Embudo, New Mexico to Jose and Emma Martinez. Later they moved to Utah where she graduated from Bingham High school and then later from Salt Lake Community College when she then worked for the phone company until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her daughter Marissa; and her parents Jose and Emma Martinez. She is survived by her daughters Melissa and Noel; her grandchildren Josh, Tyler, Emma and Theo; two great-grandchildren Randy and Lacey; and siblings Max, Stella and Manuel. Please join us in celebrating her life. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 6 to 7 PM and a rosary from 7 to 8, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. A funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 AM at St Joseph the Worker, 7405 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.

Ruby and I had many conversations about faith. She told me to believe in faith, and that is how to find comfort. I will miss her quite laugh. Ruby loved her daughters and grandkids more than life.
