Ruth Thacker Obituary

1918 ~ 2012
Altamont, UT-Ruth McIntire Thacker, age 93, passed away August 25, 2012 at the Roosevelt Care Center, surrounded by her family.
Born December 21, 1918 in Price to Joseph and Lillian Pearl Wilkens McIntire. She married Daniel Wesley Thacker, September 23, 1937 in Vernal. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 4, 1938. He died January 28, 1992.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Ray) Fisher, SLC; Karma Rae (Greg) Timothy, Altamont; Wesley Dean (Leslie) Thacker, Roosevelt; daughters-in-law, Sharon Thacker, Vallorie Thacker, both of Altamont; 19 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren, and 5 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley, sons, Ralph and Boyd Thacker, 3 great grandchildren, Jenny, Angel and Dillon, sisters, Fern, Maxine and 4 step-brothers, Grant, Morris, Ross and Frank Monsen.
Funeral services held Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altamont LDS Chapel. Friends may call Wednesday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 E 300 N from 6 - 8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial Altamont Cemetery.
