Scott worked with my husband for many years. Whenever he was in town and they got a break from work I enjoyed meeting them for dinner. He had this amazing curiosity and zest for life. I truly enjoyed getting to know and talk to him through the years. My family will miss him greatly.

Scott has been a great friend and mentor to me for the past 13 years. His technical know-how and vibrant personality were a joy to be around. I could not have asked for a better person to work with. He has had a large and positive influence on my life both personally and professionally. I will miss him greatly.

I first met Scott when he came to Detroit in 1998 to work with me on the automotive composites conference for SAMPE. He was always available to talk when I would call him, and we always shared a meal at SAMPE conferences. I did not know he was known as Dr. Moose, and every time we would meet he would call me "Nikos" and ask about ouzo. Scott was a dear friend, mentor, and colleague, and he will be missed.
