Dear Steve Lunt and Family of Steve and Sherrill Lunt,
Thank you so much for your wonderful example of love and wonderful family relationships. We enjoyed visiting with Steve and Sherrill last year. They made us feel so welcome and loved. The Lunt Family is an example of living Christ's teachings and what a wonderful example was set by our dear Aunt Sherrill and Uncle Steve Lunt.
Sincerely,

To Steve and family. Sherrill was my college roommate. She brought love and laughter to 4 special friends and to many others as well. I treasure the time so long ago that I spent with her. She was kind, gentle and caring. Her special memory will remain with me always. To you, her family, you are fortunate to have had her in your life. May peace and love abide with you forever as you remember this beautiful person.
Afton Jolley Peterson and husband Dale sends his condolence as well.

To Steve and your wonderful family: I have been blessed and honored to know Steve and Sherrill through the past 50-some years as they welcomed me into the Utah family after I arrived from Kansas. All of Iron County and, for that matter ALL of the Southern Utah tier of counties, have long recognized the impact of Sherrill and Steve on so many thousands of citizens. When I would travel the highways and byways of Southern Utah during my days with The Salt Lake Tribune, I became acutely aware of the Lunt legacy....or, as we have come to know Cedar City -- the "Coaching Factory." If you knew Steve, you knew Sherrill. The two of them worked side-by-side and tirelessly to promote their school, their community and their "boys." Dozens of those "boys
have gone on to sterling coaching careers and in other endeavors, all of them with the Lunt name on their resumes. As the age-old adage goes, behind every great man stands a great woman. Sherrill was Steve's great woman. And we will miss her.

So sorry to hear of Sherill's passing. "By their fruits ye shall know them," and Sherrill and Steve certainly have a beautiful family to carry on the great Lunt name. May you all be blessed with our Heavenly Father's love at this very difficult time and receive the strength to endure.
We love you all,

Many years ago, Sherrill was my daughters baby sitter. Jamie loved her so much, she never wanted to come home with me. Then when Jamie was in high school, who asks her out is Kregg. The only reason I let her go was I knew his sweet mom, not to mention he was such a good guy. I am so sorry she has passed, but there for sure is a place all ready for her in Heaven. What a wonderful reunion with her grandson. Much love to the family.

Steve and family, We were so sorry to hear of Sherrill's passing. We have wonderful memories of you - Steve and Sherrill, at Bryce, at CSU, in Kanab, and finally when we moved to Cedar City. She was such a positive and happy influence, in our circle of friends. We know, for sure, that being with her again is a reality we can look forward to.
We send our love and blessings.
