1956 - 2025
UTAH-Wade Thayn Carter passed away peacefully in the early morning of August 19th, 2025, holding his youngest daughter's hand. He was born, the third son of Gary and Nancy Carter, in Hawthorne, Nevada on December 2nd, 1956. He attended Murray High School and then worked for his father renovating rental property. Wade learned many trades, and was a handy-man known for his skills in woodworking, carpentry and fabrication. He was a history buff who loved Civil War and Utah lore, he favored rockabilly music and collected many antiques including BB guns and pocket knives. He was a major motorcycle enthusiast who had too many bikes over the years to keep track of.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Fred and Mont. He is survived by two daughters, Noelle Carter and Jamie Bigelow, his sister, Julie Brown, his brother, Joe and his stepmother, Kay Carter Aase.
A memorial celebration will be held on October 12th at
El Chihuahua Restaurant , 3:00pm
