Abbi Malish Obituary
Abbi graduated in December 2024 Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M San Antonio. Previously, she graduated with Honors at San Antonio Community College and successfully completed theological studies. Her true passion in life was her deep faith.
Abbi is survived by her mother, Cathy Smierciak, sister, Jessica Malish, grandfathers, Robert Dietz and Rudy Malish, aunts, Lori Van De Walle (Danny), Linda Dietz, uncles Robert Dietz, Jr. (Debbi), Kristen Malish and numerous beloved cousins and family members. Her nanas, Patricia Dietz and Leslie Malish, preceded her in death and greeted her in Heaven.
A celebration of life for Abbi will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10:00 at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX 78154.

I will always remember the first time I met Abbi, we were both at my friend Willow's birthday dinner at the Magic Time Machine restaurant, Abbi ordered a lobster tail and said she had never had lobster tail before (and we had never had it either so we all had to figure out how to cut it open) and - I only knew Abbi through our mutual friend Willow, but over the past few years we'd talk on the phone together when Willow would call her while we were in the car together, and we went back to the next year (2024) to the Magic Time Machine and started a new birthday tradition. Willow only found out from another friend about Abbi passing yesterday and then I found out from Willow, we only just went to her graduation party last month and it's so hard realize that was the last time we ever saw her in person. Abbi: You will be missed by everyone who had you in their life.<3
