Ann Stewart Obituary

Ann Catherine Evans Stewart passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024, at the age of 86, in Plano, Texas.
Ann leaves behind a loving family, including her sister, Jane O'Neill; her children, Catherine Mitchell (Martin), Susan Ashley, Charlie Simpson (Karen), and Tom Simpson (Clay Cates); grandchildren Mackenzie Mayer (Jeremy King), Jeannette Ashley, Kirby Simpson, Zachary Mayer, Colby Simpson, and Cody Clark; cousins Clayton King (Betty Jo) and Lynn Barry St. John; and nieces and nephews Kelley Austin, Jon Thompson (Darlene), Mike Thompson (Janet), Chris Thompson (Irene), and Lesley Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Helen Garner and Carl Evans; sister, Jean Miller; husband, Harrison M. Stewart; daughter, Cindi Simpson; and grandsons, Tanner Simpson and Cooper Clark.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 10 am at Coker Methodist Church, 231 E North Loop Rd, San Antonio, Texas. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, Ann's favorite color.
