I still can't believe that it will be a year since you left us. I think of you every day wondering what you are doing, talking to you and hoping you are listening. I text your mom just to make sure she is ok. I know we all miss you and wish you were here physically. But we all know that you are watching over all your loved ones and your friends. I will alway's hold you in my heart. You were and will always be a great friend. I will always remember your silliness, your hard work, your MILLION $$$$$ SMILE and how you always made us laugh at work. You would sit next to me at work and we would all talk and we would all laugh at what you would say. It was fun working with you. We miss your cheerful smile and laugh.

God gave me the opportunity to meet your daughter/sister/grand daughter/aunt/niece/or cousin. I met Araceli through my sister-in-law Cierra Griffin. I only knew her for a short period of time, but Araceli was and will always be a wonderful friend to myself and my family. I only wish that God would have allowed us more time with her. Whenever she was in your presence you were guaranteed to be laughing or smiling. I for one will certainly miss that. Please take comfort in knowing that she was a blessing to be around and that her memories will last forever. I will always miss you Araceli "My Margarita Buddy".

I didn't know Araceli but i heard of such a tradegy through my friend. She is in a better place where no one can harm her now and will deeply be missed. She was so beautiful with such an elighting smile. She will not be forgotten.

I feel the loss of you daughter whom I remember only as a small child going into kinder. I remember the fear you felt Grace of that first year. She grew up, and the years flew by, and we went different paths. I never got to meet her, as I see her now, so beautiful and with so such life in her eyes.

Today is our first major holiday/event without you. You know it’s Tio Charlie’s birthday. I suspect we’ll have no practical jokes on him this year – that’s OK – we’ve been remembering all the old jokes you and Lisa have played on him – It has helped to remember you two laughing and giggling about whatever you two had done to Charlie (first as children, and then, recently, as young adults).
I’m so glad that you came over on Friday night. Lisa had told me that Jen was coming over. When the doorbell rang at 10:30pm I was so glad to see that it was you. I opened the door to see your million dollar smile. There was a special gleam in your eyes. I know you were happy - you were going out and you looked more beautiful that ever. You came to borrow a blouse but I know you had to see Lisa before you went out (you always did that). I got to kiss you and tell you to be careful.
I know you’ve been watching over us already – when I went to the cemetery yesterday to see you, I didn’t fall flat on my face like I did the first time I went to see Grandma there. All the flowers there are still looking as beautiful as you (OK – now I’m getting corny and besides Tio Lauro will tell me I’m writing a letter instead of a note - but I needed to talk to you.)

Im going to miss you so much! I'm sorry we drifted apart but you were and will always be in my heart. I'll never forget our study sessions at Michelle's :-) or going tubing w/ the others. So many memories, I wish we had time to make more. This is such a tragedy. I'm sorry we drifted apart and that I took your time for granted always putting off getting in touch w/ you b/c I just knew I had time to do it later. I'm so sorry, Celi. You will definitely be missed and never forgotten. Love you girl!
