Benjamin Alvarado Sr.

Benjamin Alvarado, Sr., entered into his eternal rest on April 21, 2007. Mr. Alvarado is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Abelina Alvarado; children, Benjamin, Jr. and Anna Alvarado, Herbert and Gloria Alvarado, Hector and Andrea Alvarado, Vivian Trujillo, Juliette and Richard Barrera; his wonderful grandchildren, Benjamin III, Melissa, Matthew, Sandra, Michelle, Erica, Antonio, Angelica, Alexandrea, Ashley, Stephany, Vanessa, Jessica, Robert III, Richard II and Samuel; 29 blessed great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Solomon and Frances, Raymond and Josie, Joe and Nydia, Matilde, Mague, Amelia, Lydia and Jesse, and Amparo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also blessed with an extended family in Mexico, as well. Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, from 3-9 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2007, for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Shrine of Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
