Brandon Ashley Cruz, 41, of Boerne, Texas passed away on February 21, 2022.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Holt & Holt Funeral Home at 319 E. San Antonio Avenue in Boerne. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, located at 315 Rosewood Avenue in Boerne, followed by committal in Boerne Cemetery.
Brandon was born on June 30, 1980 in Creve Coeur, Missouri to Eddie and Jean Cruz. Brandon was a loving and caring father, son, and husband.
He loved motorcycles, sports cars, water sports, skydiving, snowboarding, his pets, and cooking. He graduated from the Disney Culinary Academy in Orlando, FL and worked at the Grand Floridian. He was a kid at heart and would love getting in trouble with his daughter. He was always helpful to those in need, friends, family and strangers. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Selvedina; his daughter, Veronica Alyssa; his parents; his brother, Ethan Cruz, his wife, Ryan (née Miller), and their children, Tino and Taryn; various aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as his dogs, Max, Gary, and CeCe.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations can be made to Hill Country Daily Bread Ministry (https://hillcountrydailybread.com/) in honor of Brandon.
