Carlos Moran Obituary
Carlos Moran passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on September 16, 2015 in Corpus Christi, TX, at the age of 61. Our beloved brother, uncle, and friend is preceded in death by his parents, Arturo and Herminia Moran; brothers, Manuel Moran, Armando Moran (twin brother); and most recent, beloved sister-in-law, Yolanda Moran. He is survived by his brothers, Arturo Moran Jr., Emilio Moran (Edna), Mario Moran (Virginia); sister, Irma M Valdez (Raul); numerous nieces and nephews; extended family; girlfriend, Vickey L Work (Kaylee and Kaycee Work) and his two dogs (Toby and Pearl). Our beloved Carlos proudly served in the US Army and was currently employed with Civil Service at CCAD, Corpus Christi, TX. He loved spending time with his family; his dogs; going to church; watching movies; listening to music. Carlos loved nature; working on his lawn and garden; riding his bike; enjoyed skiing; visiting parks and the beach: and still loved his 1985 Trans Am. Services on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, from 5:00-8:00pm with Rosary beginning at 7:00pm Church Service and Funeral: Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Leo's Catholic Church and funeral at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery at 11:30am with Military Honors.

Our condolences to the Moran family. I had the honor of counting Carlos as one of my dearest friends. We worked together at Kelly AFB and Hill AFB, Utah. He was so kind as to help my wife and I pack our belongings for our move to Corpus Christi, Texas. One month later in Oct. 2007, I reciprocated and helped him unpack his belongings, as he also got a job at CCAD. I was blessed to have a friend like Carlos for so many years and will truly miss him.
