Mr. David Louis Pue Sr. of Comfort passed away on Wednesday September 29th in Comfort at the age of 73 years. David was born November 7, 1936 in Boerne, TX to Ivan Walter and Charlotte "Lottie" Schneider Pue.
David married Hara Safford on July 25, 1959 in Comfort, TX. David retired from Civil Service work at Kelly AFB as a Systems Analyst. David also owned and operated Al's Drive Through Liquor for many years. David Retired from the Army Reserves attaining the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. David Pue is survived by his wife: Hara Safford Pue of Comfort, one daughter, one son and spouses: Charlotte and Rob Koch of Comfort, David and Teresa Pue Jr. of Comfort, four grandchildren: Jimmy Munson, Stanley Haines Jr., Ebi Koch and Desi Pue. Brother: Eddie B. Pue of Laurie, MO. Many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Pue. Per his wishes his body will be cremated and a private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Comfort Library, American Cancer Society, or to the charity of one's choice. Expressions of sympathy may be sent at www.schaetter.com.
