Barry Pue Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Barry Allen Pue departed this life peacefully on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, following a brief illness.

Barry Pue, son of Willie J. Pue, Sr. and Elizabeth Pue, was born on January 28, 1961, in Trenton, New Jersey. He received his formal education in the Trenton Public School System.

Barry was employed at Rising Star Adult Daycare Center, Ewing, NJ, where he worked as a transportation specialist and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. A committed entrepreneur, Barry also owned and operated a small business that provided auxiliary support services for both businesses and families. His services included landscaping, lawn care, and residential moving, work he performed with pride and integrity.

Barry was a man of steady character and strength. He was a loving husband, devoted son, loyal brother, and a true friend. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, always placing his loved ones at the center of his life.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Barry was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, often heard cheering them on with unmatched intensity.

Barry loved to travel and embraced new adventures whenever the opportunity arose. In his leisure time, he enjoyed recycling scrap materials. Known for his unique sense of humor, Barry left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie J. Pue, Sr.; brothers, Joe Mack and Marvin Montgomery; and sister, Marsha Montgomery.

Barry leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Sonya Crowell Pue; mother, Elizabeth Pue; siblings, Craig Montgomery, Jeffrey Montgomery, Willie J. Pue, Jr., Anthony Pue, Duane Pue, Guy Pue, Beverly Pue, and Valerie Pue; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends that loved him dearly.

Though his absence leaves a void, we find comfort in knowing that God, in His infinite wisdom, makes no mistakes. "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21)
