Deacon Noah R. Williams Sr.

Deacon Noah R. Williams Sr. departed this life for his Heavenly Home on November 11, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 29, 1932 to Lewis Williams and Lizzie Bell Williams, Deacon Williams was educated in the Marion County school system in Marion, S.C. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he migrated to Trenton N.J, where met the love of his life, Mother Ethel M. Williams. Deacon Williams was employed by New Method Cleaners, US Steel (where he was affectionately known as "OT Willie"), and Mercer County Head Start, retiring after many years of service.
Deacon Williams was a devoted member of Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church for 68 years and served in various capacities, including Chairman of the Trustee Board and Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Deacon Board.
He was also a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan who could be heard all over the house while watching them play all while Mother Williams was telling him to be quiet because he was making too much noise.
He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis Williams and Lizzie Belle Williams; wife, Mother Ethel M. Williams; siblings, Christine Woodbury, Robert L. Williams, Joe Lewis Williams; grandsons, Corey L. Myers, Farrell Little, and Maurice Morgan; great grandson, Aiden Little; and goddaughter, Marian Lewis.
Deacon Williams leaves to cherish his precious memories his children, Sharon F. Little (Menjou) of High Point, NC, Pastor Noah R. Williams Jr. (Margaret) of Willingboro, NJ, Judah Divine Williams of Hamilton Twp., NJ, and Cheryl L. Morgan (Rick) of Roebling, NJ; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; three sisters, Earline Reeves of Yonkers, NY, Tina Washington (Roger), and Isolene Williams of Amityville, NY; goddaughter, Jeannie Berry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under of the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1
