Daylan Doyal Obituary
Daylan Sue Doyal (Sissy) age 51, went to be with her Lord on June 26, 2010.She was a loving, devoted, wife, mother, and daughter in Christ, and will be greatly missed in our hearts forever. We are longing to meet her in heaven. Sissy was born in San Antonio on July 18, 1958. She graduated McCollum High School in 1976 and worked for Alamo Commission Company at San Antonio Stockyards for 17 years. For the last 16 years she has worked as an independent insurance adjuster for Prestige Claims. Sissy was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Alice Burkhart; brother, Michael Allen; mother-in-law, Edna Doyal. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Phillip Wayne Doyal; sons, Jason, Chace Doyal & wife, Tayler; daughter, Wynter; mother, Bettye Steelman; father-in-law, Herman Doyal; brothers, Dale Allen, James Allen, David Allen; sister, Diana Allen; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many brothers and sisters in Christ. Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Universal City. Immediately following will be a fellowship in the Peace Auditorium. Family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to: Enduring Love Foundation of First Baptist Church of Universal City.

My name is Tony Martinez and I am currently employed by Alamo City Medical Group as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I hope you don't mind but I was informed about your wife's accident by a patient who said she knew you and your family. This patient spoke very highly of your family. I was honored that she would share her pain with me. I can't tell you how sorry I am about your wife's passing. Although I do not know you or your family, I can't help feeling your loss. Our thoughts and prayers to the Doyal and Allen families. We know Daylan is resting amongst her loved ones and will continue to watch over all of you. May you continue to have the strength to live in unity and always with prayer. May God Bless you and keep you strong. Daylan and I were classmates and graduates of McCollum HS. We were also neighborhood buddies--Daylan living on Beam and I lived on Bickley.

Dearest Phillip, Jason, Winter, Chase, Bettye Sue and all, Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. We all loved Sissy very much and are so saddened by her death. I wish I could be there with you to say good-bye, but unfortunately I just can't get a flight out that quickly. Hopefully I will be able to come at a later date.
