Delo Caspary Obituary
Delo H. Caspary, 85, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011. He was born November 18, 1925 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Delo H. and Trudy Caspary. He graduated from the University of Texas and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. On November 22, 1950, he went in the boat business with long time friend, Jerry Wendell forming Caspary-Wendell Industries. He was a board member of Battle Mountain Gold, Victoria Bank & Trust and a Texas Parks & Wildlife commissioner. Delo had a love for hunting, fishing, nature and spending quality time with family and friends.
His parents and granddaughter, Hannah Marie Gilliland preceded Delo in death. He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Caspary of Rockport; three sons, Delo Caspary III of Humble, Texas, Cass Caspary of Dallas, Texas and Todd (Jennifer) Caspary of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mary Beth Gilliland of Rockport and Carrie (Albert) Riley of Houston; ten grandchildren, Ashley & Emily Caspary, Marissa Caspary, Melissa, Sarah, Sam & Reid Caspary, Kara Armstrong, Haley Gilliland and Albert Riley, Jr. and one great-grandson, Lukin Cash Gilliland.
Visitation will be held at the Caspary home on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Private family services and interment will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011.

Our thoughts are with you. I know you and Delo from his days on the BMG board. My wife and I have the greatest respect for him. In fact as a result of our respect our youngest son's middle name is Delo which is what he primarly goes by. I hope that is a comfort to you.
