Doris Martensen Obituary

MARTENSEN
Doris J. Martensen passed on to be with her heavenly father March 14, 2012. She was born in Oakland, Ca. in 1920 and is predeceased by her husband William B. Martensen and has 3 surviving children, William M., Robert B. and James B. She loved San Antonio and volunteered her time to many, including Fiesta and the Institute of Texan Cultures. Her favorite charity was the Wounded Warriors program and in lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations be made to that organization. Special thanks to the Independence Hill Retirement community in San Antonio where she spent her final healthy years in comfort. A private service will be held at a later date. She will be missed.
