Edward Reyes Obituary

Edward Davila Reyes, born February 1, 1957, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2004 at the age of 47. A 1975 South San High School graduate. He served in the U.S. Army and served 19 years of dedicated service to the U.S. Postal Service. In the last 20 years, Eddie and his family have spent time on many outings and vacations. He loved the outdoors and picked up golf as his hobby. His loud laughs and his unconditional following of the "Cowboys" and "Spurs" with loud cheering will be incredibly missed. He was a true "Good Times" friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Oralia Reyes; and brother, Frank Reyes. He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy D. Reyes; daughter, Reagen Ashlee Hines; son, Matthew Rene Reyes; sisters, Bertha Jimenez and husband Carmelo, Martha D. Reyes; brothers, George D., Joe D. and Richard D. Reyes; grandchild, Madison Isabel Garcia; nieces and nephews, Sabrina, Laura, Roman, Oriana, Clayton and Preston. SERVICES Visitation began on Monday from 5:00 - 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's (South San) Catholic Church. A Funeral Procession will depart the funeral home at 10:00 A.M.
