EDWIN READEL Obituary
Edwin W. Readel, our sweet Dad and PaPa, peacefully passed away on August 10, 2021. He is survived by his children, Sherri (Chris) Kamp, Shelli Korn, and Derrick (Chloe) Readel, and grandchildren, Edwin Korn, Hunter Korn, and Evey Readel.
Edwin was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and was a retired electrician from USAA. He spent his time with his children, grandchildren, and at his beloved cabin deer hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. We will miss his kind heart, his constant joking around, and are grateful for his love. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 4:00 – 9:00 pm, with a remembrance service at 7:00 pm at Camero Funeral Home, 20567 Hwy. 16 South, Von Ormy, TX, 78073.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 am at Jefferson United Methodist Church, 758 Donaldson Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78201, with the interment immediately following at 11:30 am at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to further Parkinson's disease research, Alzheimer's disease research, or to Texas Parks and Wildlife.
