May the Lord's blessings be with the members of the Charlton and Bellinger families, and give you the strength you need to carry on. Pat was a dear friend of ours which goes back to our freshman year (1964) at Texas Southern University. We'll never forget that contagious smile.

It's been a long time since we last seen each other in elementary. I remember your mom's enlighting smile while at Eckerd's. I remember spending nites at your home so we could attend the Fall carnival at St. Benedicts Church. Your mom was so nice. I would ask about you when ever she would fillin at eckerds. Yes, She fought a good fight; She finished her course. She kept the faith. God has now said "Well done"!!! Pat will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Danielle, you be as strong as you can. You are an only child, but I am your Godsister....that means that you have me should you need a shoulder, babysitter or whatever it is.
There will be cards, calls, visits and more, but after that ceases, remember that God will give you peace & that she will forever be in our hearts & watching over us. When I came to the house visit Pat a few weeks ago, I reminded her of the good times we had and how I appreciated her keeping me out of trouble!
Ok now, some of the great memories I will have are the funniest and the best...Lil Nancy Chick a woofa ( I still get scared when I hear that name), the brownies, the south main mustangs and our lil secret on 6/6/86 ( I got stitches in my arm)LOL. Everyone remembers Lil Nancy! She told that story the best.
Keep your head up and remember I am just around the corner should you need me.
I pray for the peace of all of the family and friends of Pat.
Luv Ya,
Audrey Jefferson

LIFE’S WEAVING
My life is but a weaving between my God and me; I may not choose the colors, He knows what they should be. For He can view the pattern upon the upper side, while I can see it only on this, the under side. Sometimes He weaves sorrow, which seems strange to me; But I will trust His judgment, and work on faithfully. It is He who fills the shuttle, He knows just what is best. So I shall weave in earnest and leave with Him the rest At last, when life is ended, with Him I shall abide. Then I may view the pattern upon the upper side. Then I shall know the reason why pain with joy entwined, was woven in the fabric of life that God designed.....Charlie (and family), let's remember Pat's beautiful smile and zest for life. I know right now she is fishing in Heaven!!! My prayers are with you..and I love you all!

I have only wonderful memories of Pat who had a heart of gold. My childhood was so enriched because Pat, Charlie, Littleman and their loving parents treated me as if I was one of the family. They shared their home with a little poor boy and girl across the street. Only God knows all the benefits we received from the Bellinger family having opened their home with love to all the kids of the neighborhood. Pat loved us all. I will keep memories of you alive always.
Thanks for sharing your love with the neighborhood. We love you.
