Uncle Louis and Family:
Our beautiful Aunt Emma is gone but she left indelible memories in our hearts. She was so thoughtful, loving and personable. Her face and those beautiful eyes are forever etched in our minds; and her inner beauty was demonstrated in the kind tenderness she had for others.
We pray that the Lord provides you with great strength so you may move forward in the grieving process. Our deepest sympathy during your time of sorrow.
Lovingly,
Mary Esther Vasys and Family

Dear Entire Parra Family,
Emma was my Mother-in-Law, when Louis Jr & I were married,40 years ago. She remained my friend for all these years. As Grandmother to Rachel, we had a bond that would never be broken. I remember Emma as a happy, joyful, respectful,family-oriented Lady who was loyal and supportive to all of her loved ones, unconditionally. No one ever left the Parra home hungry! She was always sharing good things to eat anytime that we were over. I remember her in the kitchen, long ago, making every meal that the family would enjoy together. I also think of Emma whenever I see a dark wooden rocking chair, as that is the gift she gave to me so we could rock her first baby granddaughter. Also, she had one as well. Gregory was so little when I came into the family & she loved to sit in that rocker with him. As a very little girl, Rachel called Emma "Little Gramma" and that name has remained for her, through the decades! My son Zachary loved coming to visit her & he always called her Little Gramma, too. She treated him like her own & that was so special to him & me. When Louie & I were married, I remember Emma coming over to bring food, gifts for our house and straightening his hair! She was always trying to help all of her children, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren by giving whatever she had, in order to make their lives a little bit better. I was honored to know her & my life has been blessed with her loving kindness and friendship. She will be missed and she will be remembered with love, always.
Prayers to all, for strength & support in this time of loss. With Love, Adene (Parra)Balzer.

To Uncle Louis, Gilbert and the rest of the family - words cannot express our heartfelt sympathy and sorrow that we feel with the passing of Aunt Emma. Damon remembers fondly when he was a child visiting that Emma was very nice and always kind to everyone. I felt the same way when I first met her. May the good Lord comfort you during this time and fill you with the Holy Spirit. Emma is now at peace in God's arms.
Psalm 119:76
May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant.

To the Para Family,
I'm Lydia(Castillo)Ortiz, Arturo & Nora's daughter, my husband & I are so very sorry for your loss. What I remember when we were little & we use to visit was how much your Mom would always make us feel at home. A lot of the times we would see her walking out of her shop she had at the house. She was a great woman who knew how to take care of her family. Emma you will be missed.

Dear Donald, I am so sorry for your & your family's loss. Please know that i have often thought about you especially and your family when I have passed by your house on Lyell. I remember meeting your parents that one Christmas a long time ago, they seemed very sweet. My mom passed away 3 yrs ago and I still miss her alot, so I know about your hurt. I pray that you will hold your memories of your mom alive not only in thought but also speak of them as they will teach your children her passion for you and your dad, brothers and the rest of the family. May Jesus Christ continue to give you peace and comfort. God bless you in this your hour of grief. Sincerely, Ruth Mena Martinez
