Eric Constantin Obituary

CONSTANTIN
Eric Homer Constantin passed into the arms of our heavenly father on February 20, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 67. He will be greatly missed. Eric was born to Homer & Marguerite on July 1,1946 in Miramas, France. After graduating in 1965 from Lee High School, he joined the Navy and served in Viet Nam. After being discharged he joined IBEW Local Union 60 as an Electrician for 40 plus years. He also coached and umpired for Windcrest Little League for several years. Eric was preceded in death by his parents. Eric is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Karen; his sons Jacob (Joann) Brian (Rhoda Bennett) daughter Aimee (Jarred Montgomery). Eric is also survived by sister Lydie (Roy) Rodriguez and grandchildren Jacqueline, Joseph, Nicholas, Tiffany, Kayla and April Constantin and Nicholas Montgomery and one great granddaughter Eden Rose Constantin along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will take place at Sunset Funeral Home Thursday February 27,2014 from 5pm to 9pm. Graveside services will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery February 28, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice in Eric's name. To Karen and the entire Constantin family, our deepest condolences on the loss of Mr. Eric. Karen I always enjoyed talking with Eric when y'all would come to watch us play ball and I remember hearing him yell at Amy to run faster or hit the ball farther. It is hard to lose loved ones, but know he is at peace and God will give y'all the strength and love to handle the pain. God bless all of y'all and we will keep y'all in our prayers.
