Ernest Wilder Obituary
Ernest A. "Ernie" Wilder, age 73, of LaVernia, Texas passed away on June 13, 2012. He was born on January 15, 1939 in San Antonio, Texas to Damon Dee Wilder and Evelyn Marietta Holmes. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Marilyn. He is survived by his daughter Rhonda Sayre and husband Michael of Converse; son, Richard Wilder of LaVernia; grandchildren, Richard II and Cody Wilder, Brett , Clark, Luke, Scott, and Wade Sayre; sister, Patsy Hester of LaVernia; nephew, Douglas Hester and wife Cheryl of LaVernia; niece Shaleen Parker and husband J.D. of LaVernia; numerous other family members and many loving friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 17th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Finch Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery near LaVernia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 4101 S. Alameda Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. You are welcome to sign the online guestbook at www.finchfuneralchapels.com.

I am very sorry to hear about Ernie's passing. I have great memories of him at L&H Packing. He was always great to have around and we had some good laughs together that I will remember.
