George Hernandez Obituary

Mr. George Hernandez, age 51, passed away on May 5, 2006 in San Antonio. He was born on February 28, 1955 in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Hernandez retired honorably from the United States Navy after 18 years of service. Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his father Humberto Hernandez and by his brother James Hernandez. He is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Hernandez; son, Christopher L. Hernandez and wife Dawn Hernandez; daughter, Georganne E. Hernandez and fianc 5/8 Cesar Carrillo; mother Nicolasa Hernandez; sister Elizabeth Sanchez; brothers Jake Hernandez and Fred Rodriguez, and by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation for Mr. Hernandez will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held on Monday evening at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 9, 2006. Military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will be rendered by the United States Navy. Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
