George Mills Obituary

George M. Mills, Sr., born August 7, 1914, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2002 at the age of 88. Mr. Mills was a native and lifetime resident of San Antonio. He was a Past Master of the Davy Crockett Masonic Lodge No. 1225 AF & AM. He was a retired diesel engineer with Alamo Portland Cement Company with over 40 years of service. His three sisters, Dutch, Rennie and Lilly Mae preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Elva L. Mills of San Antonio; sons and daughters-in-law, George M. Mills, Jr. and Emily Ann of San Antonio, and Forester J. Mills and Elizabeth Ann of Boerne; grandchildren, Forester J. Mills Jr. and Heidi, Elizabeth Dee Bohnert and Michelle L. Cardenas and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Dustin Mills, Heather Mills, Sydney Bohnert, Austin Bohnert, Beau Cardenas and Brady Cardenas; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. in Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park North. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
