Gilberto Ramos Obituary
Gilberto Ramos, born March 21, 1949, was called home to be with our Lord on May 27, 2011, at the age of 62. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cruz & Alicia Ramos. Mr. Ramos is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, Juanita Ramos; children, Debbie Aguilera and husband, Richard, Macario Ramos, George Ramos and wife, Traci, and Gilbert Ramos; grandchildren, Ricky & Megan Aguilera, Austin, Tristan & Landen Ramos; as well as numerous other loving relatives and friends. Visitation will held on Sunday, June 5, 2011, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart on Monday, June 6, 2011, at 9 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with interment to follow at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Dear Ramos Family,
I can't express in words how sorry I am for your loss. Mr. Ramos (Serg. as I know him) holds a special place in my heart and always will. I've been blessed and honored to have grown up with his amazing family (love you Mac & Mark). We've shared a lot of wonderful memories, which I will hold onto dearly. I'll miss his stories, awesome sense of humor, his laugh, and last but not least the maracas while whistling and dancing around the house. He lived a proud full life and raised the strongest, most loyal and honorable family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
