James "Jim" Admire, 88 of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, passion, and unwavering love. Jim was born on October 24, 1936 and was preceded in death by his wife Laurette Admire and his sister Janice Morgan.
Jimmie was a man of strong convictions. He loved deeply and passionately, with a heart that fought for those he cared about. His heart was vast, and his loyalty ran deep- whether it was for his family, his friends, or the simply joys that brought him happiness. Simple joys like his sweet cat, traveling, working in his yard, pumpkin pie, ice cream, the Kansas City Chiefs and old country songs. He was proud of his 40 years of employment at HB Zachary in San Antonio where he retired from in 2000.
Jim is survived by his loving children, Jim Admire Jr., David and wife Jan Admire, Keith Admire, Kari and husband Steve Drzymalla. His grandchildren, Read Admire, Jared Admire, Mary Elizabeth Admire- mother of great grandson Casey Emmet, Joshua and Jordan Admire, and Emily and Abby Drzymalla. Stepchildren Corey and wife Monica Keller and Tracy and husband Dimas Delgado. Step grandchildren Annabelle and Adrienne Keller, and Emma and Evan Delgado. Along with many nieces and nephews in which he loved very much.
A private graveside service at the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary church in St. Hedwig, Texas will be held for immediate family and close friends and will be announced at a later date.
