Joe Canales Obituary

On March 8, 2007, the angels came and guided Joe H. Canales, Jr. (Polo) to his eternal resting place into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus Christ. He was born in San Antonio, TX on August 6, 1962. He is survived by his mother, Carmen L. Canales; his brother, Pete L. Aguilar and wife, Judy of Dallas, TX; sisters, Diana L. Canales and Elva Aguilar Garcia. He was a loving uncle to nieces, Jessica Santos and husband, Jason, Sarah Janelle Losoya, Lorraine Garcia, Natalie Garcia, Nicole Herrera, Monica Aguilar, Elizabeth Aguilar and Emma Aguilar. He had numerous great-nieces and nephews, cousins, aunt and many friends whose lives he touched. 'Polo, watch over us until we meet again'. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., Saturday, March 10, 2007, and from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M., Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Porter Loring Mortuary. ROSARY SUNDAY MARCH 11, 2007 7:00 P.M. PORTER LORING CHAPEL PROCESSION MONDAY MARCH 12, 2007 9:30 A.M. FROM PORTER LORING CHAPEL MASS MONDAY MARCH 12, 2007 10:00 A.M. ST. CECILIA CATHOLIC CHURCH 125 W. WHITTIER Pallbearers will be Pete L. Aguilar, Mario A. Gonzalez, Jesus Gonzalez, Jason Santos, Tony Hernandez and Lucio M. Garcia.
