Josephine Trinidad Obituary

TRINIDAD
Josephine P. (Josie) Trinidad, born May 15, 1921, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the age of 87. Mrs. Trinidad was a lifetime resident of San Antonio. She was a member of the Guadalupanas at St. Leo's Catholic Church and was an avid slot player enjoying many trips to Las Vegas. Josie also enjoyed traveling across the United States and abroad. She was also a member of the "Breakfast Club" at Mi Rancho restaurant. Her husband Isidro Trinidad, daughters Josephine Ponce and Rosa Trinidad and sister Lula Ayala preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters Dorothy T. Uriegas (Gilbert) and Deborah Duarte (David), sons Rafael Trinidad Sr. (Tina), USAF CMSgt. Ret. Robert Trinidad (Peggy), Gilbert Trinidad and John Roy Trinidad (Marisol), son-in-law Jose Ponce, 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
SERVICES
Visitation was held Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South with a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 9, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Leo's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II. Dorothy, you probably do not remember who I am but we worked at Lackland AFB for a while and my late husband used to live on 127 Hawthorne. I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada for the past 16 years. My condolences to you and your family and may god bless you and family. Make sure you tell Tina hello for me, she also worked at Wilford Hall where I also used to work.
