Joshua Winter Obituary

Joshua William Winter, born June 19, 1978, died Sunday, December 9, 2001 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was 23 years old. Joshua was a Helotes resident and the beloved son of Dean and Jenny Winter (of Helotes), and the cherished brother of Miriam. He is also survived by grandparents, Dean and Margaret Winter, and Kua Swee Boo, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 6011 Grissom Rd., at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 13, 2001. The family requests that Joshua be remembered with contributions to C.A.M.P. Camp (Children's Association for Maximum Potential), P.O. Box 27086, San Antonio, TX 78227, where Joshua worked as a counselor. Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.

I recently visited Joshua´s grove at camp . I am 16 years old currently and could only imagine how time has passed without Joshua . My condolences go to his family and family members for only god knows what they are going through

I return to camp next weekend!! and I´m hoping I can plant flowers to bloom for campers and staff to view and watch as they pass by Joshua´s grove . We love and miss you Josh ..
