Hermenia Etienne went home and is now resting with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the age of 88 years. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hermenia was preceded in death by her husband, Joe N. Etienne and son, Joseph Etienne. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Mike) Vest, Sandra (Randy) Johnson; grandchildren, Randall Edward (Leslie) Johnson, Jennifer Johnson; great-grandchildren, Julianne and Emilee Johnson, Annie Lee and Waylon Dugosh; brother, Mike Aguilar; sisters, Perfecta "Tita" Gutierrez, Guadalupe Johnson, Cello Galvan, Olivia Mays, Josie Shamion; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 9th at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
