On November 23, 2021, Kemper entered God's Presence surrounded by family.
He earned both his Bachelor's and Master's Degree at Sam Houston State University, and was later named a Distinguished Alumnus. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Kemper taught shorthand and coached football and bodybuilding for many years. He is survived by wife Tommye, 2 children, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Moved by the need he saw abroad, Kemper founded and served as President of Servants of the King, a mission organization that has built over 2000 multi-denominational churches, schools, and clinics in India, Nepal, and East Africa. An evangelist, he led over 11 million souls to Christ and worked with Mother Teresa to serve the needs of the dying. He saved hundreds of orphans from death on the streets of India.
Kemper was a man of simple faith, who created a far-reaching and complex legacy of service and teaching. He taught that Jesus is central to life, and that 'you must be born again to be saved'. He was witness to miracles that God worked: healings, mass conversions, resurrections, and exorcisms. God's power has no limit, and Kemper believed that fully. He continued traveling to Uganda to preach until his 86th year and found great frustration in health and travel restrictions preventing him from returning again.
Kemper loved puns and corny jokes; he was as happy with groans as with laughter. He loved cats. Though he suffered greatly in his ministry and for his faith, imprisoned multiple times and even stoned by people who hated Christ, he always found some humor or fun to make life better.
"Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Oh what Victory, Crabb family. Praying for your broken hearts, but rejoicing in the knowledge that Kemper is worshipping at the feet of his Savior. My mom, Babs Mitchell, passed away a few days later on November 30. Kemper made such an impact on my family...we are so blessed to have known him. Our deepest condolences from the Carl & Babs Mitchell family.
