Lillian Guess Obituary

LILLIAN M. GUESS Lillian M. Guess, age 76 of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday morning, March 8, at the Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. She was born December 8, 1931 in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of August "Gus" and Margaret (Golla) Ramzinski. On November 26, 1949 she married Francis "Spunky" Guess and he survives. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Red Hat Society, a County Women's Republican Party Chairwoman in TX, the founder of the NCO Aux, and was the 1st grandmother in the Texas State Guard. She graduated from the St. Gerard Catholic High School in San Antonio. She was a housewife and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband; 3 sons: Michael Guess of Irving, TX, Marc Guess and wife Pam of Moulton, AL and Robert Guess of Monte Rio, CA; a daughter, Belinda Owens, and husband David of Kennesaw, GA; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Her parents and a sister Irene Sanders preceded her in death. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, March 14 at the Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, TN with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. and at Olinger Funeral Home in San Antonio, TX on Monday, March 17 from 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 15 with Rev. Father Richard G. Buchagnani officiating. Burial will be in the Ft.
