Lloyd E. Barfell
September 4, 1925 - May 10, 2024
Lloyd E. Barfell passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024. He was born in Manila, Philippines on September 4, 1925 to Frederick and Ella Barfell. Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife Amy; daughter Karen McLean; son Bruce Barfell (Sarah); step sons Jerry McClellan (Lorraine) and David McClellan (Barbara); 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons, Lance Barfell, Douglas Barfell; and step son Larry McClellan.
Lloyd served in the Navy in World War II as 1st class petty officer in Solomon Islands, New Hebrides, New Guinea, Philippines, Guam and Japan. Lloyd was a Postal Official for 34 years. He was a lifelong member of both Disabled American Veterans and Veteran of Foreign Wars. He was also a member of Hermann Sons Pershing Lodge 160.
