Dear Linda, Charles and I were saddened to learn of Manny's death; but, we know it has brought him rest and peace after a difficult illness. Please share our condolences with his children. Manny and I were childhood best friends in Austwell, TX before his family moved away to Three Rivers. That friendship grew more like a brotherhood. But as life had it, our paths grew apart and I lost contact with him for over 40 years and then we reconnected within the past 3 years. I am fortunate for having the opportunity to renew our a wonderful frienship.

Linda, I am sorry to hear about your husband, Manny. I grew up in T.R. and lived across the street from Manny, then I moved to Corpus and would run into Manny, either at the grocery store or at an eatery. He had such a great personality and also a good sense of humor.
