Sister Margaret Rose Palmer entered eternal life on October 21, 2025 at The Village at Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 19, 1924 to Letha Jane (Swindler) and Arthur B. Palmer.
Sister Margaret Rose entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in 1946 and served in the education ministry on all levels. She is preceded in death by her parents, Letha and Arthur Palmer, her brother, Dr. Woody Palmer, and her sisters, Dorothy Marie Coleman and Edna Alice Pledger. She is survived by nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, and by her community, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.
A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, October 28 at 6 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of the Incarnate Word, followed by interment in the Convent Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, 4503 Broadway, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
