Mark Flores Obituary

FLORES
Mark Anthony Flores Sr. born February 2, 1974 to Enrique and Yolanda Flores went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2010. He leaves behind his loving family Melinda Muraida-Flores, their children Tommy, Mark Anthony Jr., and Devi Ann; parents Enrique and Yolanda Flores; brothers, Rick, Phillip; sister, Anna; goddaughter, Adrianna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, long time friends, co-workers, and associates. Mark Anthony Flores Sr. worked at his Family Automotive Business since he was a teenager. He loved being with his wife and kids. Mark valued every friendship and family member in his life, especially his "boys" Ray, Anthony, Richard, Roy, Jesse, and Alex. He enjoyed living as a free spirit and making the most of his life. He had such compassion with animals; he taught our kids that even the smallest form of life was important. Numerous times we stopped and cared for stray animals. During the last few weeks of his life, he said "Forgiveness was as easy as asking God" and he felt his lesson on life had been completed. He taught our boys that family comes first and everything else takes a back seat. He will truly be missed by all who knew him; those famous bad quotes will always bring a smile to all who heard them. We love you Mark! A Celebration of his life will be Thursday, January 28, 2010, 7:00 pm at M. E. Rodriguez Funeral Home, 511 Guadalupe, San Antonio, TX. 78207 (210) 226-6111.

Mark....you will truly be missed. You were a good friend that I knew for a very longtime through my sister Eileen who is also passed on to be with god. My husband Hugo and I remember seeing you from time to time riding bikes with your son off Guilbeau you were a great father. I will keep your family, wife and children in my prayers. This is a difficult time for them but with faith, and trust in God he will guide them through this difficult time. May God Bless your family and may your soul rest in peace.

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.

Cousin Mark, I want this time to say thank you for who you've been in my life. You were there for me in the good times, & you were there for me when times were tough. I'll never forget when we were outside your house talking about going to church & how good it is was in our lifes to be good with God. With that being said, you recognized God, & I know your in his Paradise Heaven. Your Gods child now & under his presence. So if you can hear me cousin, be a kid again. Enjoy your dreams that God has saved for you. And I promise, we'll see each other again. Love You Moses Prieto
