Mary Stavinoha Obituary

Mary Ann Stavinoha, age 54, of Castroville, TX, went to be with the Lord January 26, 2002. She was born March 30, 1947 in Castroville to Mary Echtle Tschirhart and the late Roy J. Tschirhart, Sr. Mary Ann was a lifelong member of St. Louis Catholic Church, a member of St. Ann's Society (past officer), American Legion Weiss-Wurzbach Post 460 Auxiliary (past officer of many years), past member of St. Louis Catholic School Board, St. Louis Catholic School PTC, St. Louis Catholic School Volunteer, Medina Valley PTO, Catholic Life Branch No. 17, and Hermann Sons Castroville Lodge No. 71. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice 'Mookie'' Haby and sister, Linda K. Tschirhart. Survivors include her loving husband, Emil Stavinoha, Sr.; daughter, Amy Haby; son, Emil Stavinoha, Jr., all of Castroville; mother, Mary M. Tschirhart of Devine; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy J. Jr., and Imogene Tschirhart of Devine, Gerald J. and Cynthia Tschirhart of Castroville; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Chester Webb of Castroville; sister-in-law and her husband, Mary R. and Milton Tschirhart of Castroville; mother- in-law, Agnes Stavinoha of Poth; nieces and nephews, Kara and Karla Tschirhart, Matthew and Cody Tschirhart, Larry Tschirhart, Ken- neth Tschirhart, Mark Tschirhart, Debbie Garza, Linda Tschirhart and Maurice Tschirhart. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2002 from 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 28, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. Rosary will be Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. Both Services will be at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. Interment will follow the Rosary in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be given in Mary Ann's memory to St. Louis Catholic School Endowment Fund, Medina Valley EMS or CTRC. Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home.
