"As I tell my Sunday School class, if there is any good in me it's Christ in me." One of my favorite Orrel quotes.

Orrel was a dear friend to me and to my late husband, Joe Cole. He was a mentor to us, a godly caring friend, opened his home to us on our visits back to SA after we moved, you couldn't know or find a better man or friend. He lived for the Lord and touched many lives. He and his wife, Jean will always be in my heart and loved by me very much. Thank you, Lord for placing him in my life. God bless you Jean as you travel this difficult road. Love you, Kay Cole

To his family, I am very sorry for your loss. Mr. Picklesimer was a great person and a wonderful professor. I took a class with him at UTSA many years ago, he was a always kind to students, an example for the profession, and a true mentor. The world was a better place because of Mr. Picklesimer. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time. Linda Moczygemba

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Picklesimer taught me Managerial Accounting at UTSA in 1990! He was a wonderful, dedicated teacher. I learned a lot from him, and remember him fondly.
