Philip Kranz Obituary
Death creates pain, but God heals the broken heart. Death is powerful but cannot destroy memories, therefore, think on the good times we had before death separated us. Philip Joel Kranz went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2001. He was born in Seattle, Washington, August 10, l961. He attended Weber State University, upon which he pursued a career as a golf pro. He later utilized his degree in Management to work with the Giles Group and Keller Custom Signs in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Lisa; children, Brady, Casey, Bobbi, Colin and Jordan; grandmother, Bess Hubbard of San Angelo; parents, Phillip and Sandra Kranz of Marble Falls; sisters, Kathleen and husband Mike McLaughlin, Kerri and husband Kent Harlan; nieces, Taylor Harland and Callie McLaughlin; nephews, Sean Harland and Nicolas McLaughlin; and dear friends, Margie Frodsham and Elisabeth Kranz. He was a father, he was a son, he was a husband, he was an uncle, he was a friend. Joel leaves us with a legacy of love. His friendship, compassion, wisdom and gentleness. For his laughter and playfulness and the unending love he had for those around him. He touched many lives with a tender and giving heart. If there was a need, Joel would find a way to reach out. "If you get there before I do, don't give up on me. I'll be there when my chores are through. I don't know how long I'll be. But I'm not going to let you down. Darling you just wait and see, between now and then, Ôtil I see you again, I'll be loving you. Love me." Joel you will be sorely missed by all. The family wishes to express its heartfelt thanks to Keller Custom Signs, Comal County Sheriff's Dept., Area Regional Task Force, Spring Branch Swift Water Rescue, Spring Branch V.F.D., SMART Divers, Airlife, KMOL, Texas D.P.S. and the D.P.S. Divers. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
