Richard James (Dick) Finch
February 27, 1933 - April 6, 2023
Richard James Finch (Dick) went into an eternal rest on April 6, 2023 at the age of 90 in San Antonio, Texas. Dick was born on February 27, 1933 in Binghamton, New York. He served in the US Air Force for 23 years. Beginning with the Korean War and also Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star. Dick is preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Emilia Villarreal. Dick's spirit is carried on by his 3 sons, Richard and wife, Malinda Huckle, Scott and Wife, Sandy Waggoner, Robert and Wife Kelli Long. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Valerie and husband, Joe Martinez, Richard, Travis, Victoria, Bobby and Wife Alexa Lugo, Kodi and her husband, Kyle David Mendoza; 4 Great Grandchildren, Trinidad Martinez, Isiah Martinez, Allison Finch, Robert James Finch, and Baby Rowan Mendoza.
A visitation will be held on April 24 from 09:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Chapel Service at 12:00 p.m., with Interment at 1:45 p.m. at Fort Sam National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio at SHELTER #5.
