Richard Triano

Our Dad, TSGT Richard Triano USAF (Ret), beloved husband, father, and grandfather went to be with the Lord January 14, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elida B. Triano, his son, Richard Triano Jr., his daughters, Sandra T. Juarez, Xenia T. Cohen, Maria Medina, and Cynthia T. Hancevic; his daughter's spouses, Dr. Daniel Juarez, David Cohen, and Antonio Medina; his remaining sisters in Victoria, Texas, Maria Mendoza and Lupe Guerra and their children, Estella Riojas and Luis Mendoza. Also saying good-byes, his grandchildren that loved him so much; Richard Triano III, Ronald Triano, Daniel D. Juarez, Alexandra D. Cohen, Arcadio, Antonio Jr., Adam, April, Angel Media, Anna Mina and Mika Hancevic, Marie Triano; great grandchildren, Richard and Ethan. Dad was born April 3, 1919 in Runge, Texas. He served in both the U.S. Army and Air Force in Europe during World War II. He retired from military duty and thereafter worked at Kelly A.F. B. The family would like to thank all the relatives and friends that provided emotional support through out his illness. All his children will miss him dearly even though we know he rests in a better place. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Alamo Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. at Mission Alamo Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
