I want to add a funny memory about what was probably the last time I saw Bobby Kilby in San Antonio. We were both in our early 20's. I was riding my bicycle when a car full of young men pulled up alongside of me. They started catcalling at me, which made me very uncomfortable. But I looked over at them and spotted Bobby in the back seat of the car. I called him by name, asking him how he was doing and said it was good to see him. He was obviously embarrassed at his friends' naughty behavior and put his head down. The car sped off, leaving me in peace. I laughed to myself.

The Kilby family used to live across the street from my family when Robb (or as I knew him, Bobby) were both in high school in San Antonio. We graduated the same year. My sincerest condolences to Robb's family, but I am pleased to read that he went on to have a great life after leaving San Antonio.

I graduated with Robb as well from Antonian High School in 1969 and Texas Tech in 1973. I didn´t know Robb was at Tech until I ran into him at a fraternity party. We stayed in touch while at Tech and both share our love for Antonian and Tech. I hadn´t seen Robb for a number of years until about 2 -3 years ago at a gathering in SA. I can´t speak for other classes but the 1969 class shares a special brotherhood. RIP Robb

I served on the Mill Valley Arts Commission w/Rob. We coordinated the Concerts in the Plaza for a number of years. Rob was wonderful to work with. We also both worked for Nordstrom in the Men´s Dept. His work with Guide Dogs for the Blind was exemplary. Rob will be missed by the community.
