Rolando Gonzalez Obituary
Our Beloved son Rolando Gonzalez age 18 born December 27, 1994 was called home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2013. Roland will always be remembered by family and friends for his kind and loving nature and his beautiful smile. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Higilio Gonzalez; Great-grandmother: Mary Bustos and Cousin: Angel Garcia. He is Survived by Parents: Wendy Esparza and Amanda Arcos; Father, Rolando Gonzalez; Sisters: Valerie, Isabella and Madeline; Brothers: Matthew and Seth; Grandparents: Paul Holder, Patricia and David Ramirez; Grandmother, Noelia Gonzalez; Great Grandparents: Raul and Helen Arcos; Niece Zoey Gonzales and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Visitation will begin Sunday at 4:00PM - 9:00PM and Monday from 12:00PM with a religious service held at 7:00PM at the Delgado Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12:00PM at the Delgado Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.

Tomorrow is your birthday... the pain is too much to bear.
I look up at your picture everyday and wish you were here with me still. You were such a gentle heart... I hear your laugh and your daily good morning momma in my head all the time. I remember the look in your eyes when you were happy or when I disappointed you... I remember how you had to run behind the sofa and cry where noone could see you because you were so happy that you got the video game system you wanted at Christmas.
I'm so sorry that I let you down. I'm so sorry I sent you out there. I wish I had known what i know now. I will always love you and I will always miss you and your beautiful heart. You mean the world to me... no matter where you are. I love you my beautiful little baby boy. I hope wherever you are that you are happy and feel free.

My brother was laid to rest next to Roland. Hopefully my brother doesn't annoy you too much. My mom likes to decorate Roland's resting place with flowers. Rest in Peace man.

... Was nice talking to you today... I know it's not the same as in "physically here "person, but I felt and understood you. Don't know how to express in words how I know you were there at your gravesite. In the hour of conversation I appreciate and saw the signs you sent for me. Roland,I was lucky enough to meet you when you were very, very little and I got to see you mature into a great young man. I will always remember how when I would pull up to your house, you would come running out to help me with Jonah and my bags. Roland you hold a big piece of my heart and I love you. I have so many fond and wonderful memories of you that I will forever cherish. I had the honor of watching you grow up for the last 15 years along side my own son and see you blossom into a loving young man. Although I did not have the opportunity to know Roland well, he is someone I will never forget. In the few times I saw him, he struck me as a sweet, friendly, fun loving boy. I recently found that to add to these qualities, he was also a hard worker. Roland is the kind of person who leaves such a good impression that even if you only met him once, you wouldn't forget him. He would easily stand out in a crowd of people as someone whom you would like to get to know better. I missed this opportunity. Wendy, I believe you will see Roland again. It will be in a beautiful place where death will be no more. Roland is in a deep sleep right now. When he wakes up, you will be there waiting for him. It will be years for you but only minutes for him. Wendy, until then, be strong, have faith in Jehovah, and take good care of yourself, ...for Roland.
