Roy Felipe Guajardo 73 passed away peacefully on August 30, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 1, 1943 in Brownsville, Texas, the son of Manuel and Adela Guajardo. Roy served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. After completing his service, he became a successful business owner of Roy Guajardo Construction for 35 years. Roy was a very hard working man who dedicated his life to his family. He was a faithful member of Northern Oaks Church of Christ. Roy is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Lidia Guajardo; son Danny Guajardo; daughter Delinda Moore; and four grandchildren Joseph Moore, Savanna Moore, Cassie Moore, and Emily Guajardo. Sisters; Martha Patterson, Bessie Hernandez, Sandra Wood. Brothers; Manuel Guajardo, Jerry Guajardo, Xavier Guajardo. Roy suffered with Parkinson's disease for 18 years with courage and optimism until the very last breath. Our lives will be forever touched by your loving memory. Until we see each other again you will be in our minds and hearts forever. Roy is now rejoicing with the Lord in heaven. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held at Oak Hills Mortuary. Visitation is Monday, September 5, 2016 from 5-9 PM. Memorial Service is Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment at Mission Burial Park North.
