Roy Salinas

On July 16, 2005 in the comfort of his home and surrounded by his loving family Roy Salinas age 77 passed away. He was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, a graduate of Alamo Heights High School and St. Marys University. He served in the armed forces as a Master Sergeant in the Korea conflict. After serving his country he entered the family business, Salinas Dental Laboratory which he continued to operate until shortly before his death. Roy is survived by his wife Sigi of 40 years, daughter Teena Salinas-Ofsowitz, her husband Marc, and his two grandchildren, Sidnee and Austin. He is also survived by his sister Gay Shelby and her husband Jerry and their two daughters Theresa and Annette and their families. The family will receive friends at their home at 168 E. Edgewood Place in Alamo Heights for remembrance and celebration of his life on Friday, July 22nd from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
