Samuel Paschal Obituary

Samuel Paschal
November 13, 1928 - April 14, 2024
Our beloved Samuel Beauregard Paschal was born in El Dorado, Arkansas to Elizabeth (Bess) and Samuel Elisha Paschal. He had a brother, George, AKA Dusty.
Sam grew up with four buddies who would become lifelong friends: Bob Ragsdale, Willie Matthews, Jim Coleman, and Frank Mckinney.
In 1951, Sam earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Louisiana Tech University. In 1956 he met the love of his life, Patricia Dawn Boone. After dating for a few months, they married on February 23, 1957. Their marriage lasted an incredible 67 years and produced three children, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
In his spare time, Sam enjoyed golf, photography, and genealogy. He loved to spend time out in the country at his rural properties. He designed and built a farmhouse in Guadalupe County and a cabin in Bandera County.
Sam leaves behind devoted wife Patricia and children Brian (Mary Elizabeth), Laura (Ron), and Angela (Jody), as well as grandchildren Amy, Emily, Cheyenne, Colton, Kaden, and Dax and great grandchildren Ellie, Foster, Luke, Warren, Reins, and Liam. He was "Uncle Sonny" to Patrick, Michael, Mary, and Lyssa. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
There will be a memorial service on Friday May 10th at 11am at St. David's Episcopal Church in Terrell Hills, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St David's Church or a favorite charity.
