Stephen Rodriguez Obituary
Stephen Richard Rodriguez, age 74, of San Antonio, passed away Oct. 31, 2013 in San Antonio. He was born on Aug. 31, 1939 in San Antonio to Joe R. and Mary Jane Cardenas Rodriguez. On July 20, 1957 he married Mary Gonzalez at St. Henry's Catholic Church. He proudly served his county in the United States Air Force Reserves and also worked at Kelly AFB as a Material Manager. He was a very active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic and the Knights of Columbus. He was in charge of the Knights of Columbus bingos. Survivors include wife of 56 years, Mary Rodriguez; daughter, Sharon M. Rodriguez; brother and sister-in-law, Gilbert "Gibby" and Norma Rodriguez; numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and his brother, Joe Robert Rodriguez preceded him in death. The Holy Rosary will be recited and Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 9883 Marbach Road, San Antonio, TX.
