Thomas Edmund Wright Sr.

We are sad to announce the passing of Thomas Edmund Wright, Sr of San Antonio. He died at the age of 76 on November 16, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.
Tom was born in San Antonio on December 22, 1945, and lived there all his life. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and went on to earn a BS Degree from Texas A&I in Kingsville in 1969.
Tom was President and co-owner of Peco Construction Company and Peerless Equipment Company which he successfully ran for over 43 years before his retirement in 2012. He was involved in many organizations which included the Director of Associated Builder Contractors, Builders Exchange of San Antonio Director and was on the President Advisory Council for Metallic Building Company in Houston, TX. He earned numerous awards for Building of the Year which included schools, churches and retail centers. He was also a Life Member of the San Antonio Livestock and Rodeo Association.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in Port Aransas, TX.
Tom was survived by his wife, Jane Wright; children Courtney Burk and her husband Gary, Tommy Wright and his wife Jennifer, Billy Wright, and his wife Allison; nine grandchildren, Emma Wright, Caroline Burk, Becker Wright, Kennedy Burk, Hannah Grace Burk, Clara Beth Wright, William Wright, Hudson Wright and Nick Villarreal. Along with his immediate family he is also survived by his brother, George Wright and wife Susan, sister Cheri Longoria and husband Dickie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Memorial Mass will be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 10:00, preceded by a private family burial at Holy Cross cemetery.
